A beautiful watercolour paper traditionally made on a cylinder mould machine at St Cuthberts Mill. Its attractive surface is created using natural woollen felts that give it a distinctive random texture. Made from 100% woodfree bleached chemical pulp, this is an extremely forgiving and affordable watercolour paper valued by professional and amateur artists around the world.
Internally sized. No optical brightening agents used. Highly lightfast (minimum 6+ on Blue Wool Scale) and of archival standard. Acid free.
Cold pressed surface – this has a more texture than hot pressed paper but a tighter grain than rough; making it a popular and ideal multi-purpose paper. Suitable for watercolour, acrylic, gouache, pastel, pen and ink, pencil and charcoal.
