Derwent’s first oil-based colour pencil – each colour is 100% lightfast and complies with ASTM D6901, the international standard for lightfast testing, and Blue Wool Scale ISO 105. The revolutionary core is resistant to prolonged colour change ensuring artwork will not fade for up to 100 years under museum conditions.

Derwent Lightfast pencils are oil based, opaque, smooth and creamy and provide a beautiful laydown of rich colour. The thick core gives a dense colour application. 

Colours are compatible with other mediums and pigments completely integrate to achieve new colour mixing. Colours can be dissolved using painting mediums and solvents to achieve paint effects.
