Smooth white synthetic polyprylene paper for alcohol inks and mixed media.

Yupo is water-resistant and non-porous and so colours do not soak into the surface. Alcohol inks are particularly effective on Yupo sheets as the surface creates fantastic effects and the lack of absorption preserves the brilliance and vibrancy of colour, while allowing time for the colour to blend smoothly.

Watercolours and water-based inks should be left to dry by evaporation, leaving behind the pigment. Yupo has the benefit of preserving brilliance of colour otherwise lost with conventional papers, as the reflective white surface behind transparent colours is not stained by the pigment.

Yupo can be wiped cleaned and colour lifted easily during use.
